Adult Confirmation
In the Sacrament of Confirmation we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Confirmation and the gift of the Holy Spirit gives us the strength and courage to live out our Christian faith in a mature way as adults. Receiving Confirmation is an important step for Christians and it is required if you want to get married, or be a God parent or sponsor or become a priest, sister or brother.
With baptism, the priest brings you into the family of God while you are surrounded by your family. With confirmation, the bishop publicly consecrates you by anointing you with holy oil, extending his hands praying for a special outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. In confirmation, we ourselves become anointed ones and unite ourselves to the public mission of Christ in the world.
Confirmation for adults will be on Sunday April 19, 2026. If you wish to be part of the program, register below.
