Stewardship Campaign

The GOAL

To foster at the Parish & Newman Center a culture of stewardship as a “way of life” in order to deepen our relationship with the Lord as missionary disciples.

Components

  • Sacrificial Giving is giving that comes not from one's surplus, but from one's very being. God desires that we give in this way, placing our trust in him. An example may be choosing to make a contribution at Mass, or simply offering a prayer of thanksgiving during the Offertory of the Mass. Or even take a step right now to make a donation on our give page!

  • Service takes on many different forms, but at its root, it is the work we do for others. Whether that is through serving within church directly or volunteering to help our less fortunate brothers and sisters, it is one of the most important and enriching experiences that we can partake in. You can look to join our Liturgical volunteers or our Homeless outreach.

  • Ambassadorship is a great way for such people to make an impact through showing the beauty and fruits of the cause to others. Through articulating how impactful the Newman Community has been in our lives, and expressing gratitude to those who already support it, we can encourage more people to do the same.

  • Whether by striving to use our financial goods responsibly or by participating in the upkeep and good care for the center, we are caring not only for the physical Newman Center, but also for the loving atmosphere and the community members who think of it as a place to call home.

  • When God created the Earth, He gave us a beautiful gift. We are called to look after and care for this blessing He gave us. Therefore, we strive to grow in a sense of importance of care for the environment, and are looking for ways in which the Newman Center can reduce waste.
