Altar Servers

An altar server assists the priest or at Mass by preparing the altar and acting as server during Mass, In some cases taking on the responsibility for setting up the furniture and vessels before Mass when needed. Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion

This ministry is a fulfilling one for parishioners who wish to serve their community. It makes few demands on your time beyond a planned attendance at Mass. There will be a brief training session and occasional refresher sessions. Also, we are currently looking for volunteers to expand this ministry too include the bringing Holy Communion too the homebound.


Training sessions for those interested in being commissioned as lectors are held twice annually. Lectors are scheduled for Masses as needed and receive continuing support from our Lector Coordinators. Please contact Adetoun Adeniji-Adele at


At Saturday Vigil, Sunday and Holy Day Masses ushers are needed to greet parishioners, take up the collection, help coordinate the congregation during the liturgy and clean up after Mass. This ministry is a wonderful way to participate and to get to know the parishioners at the Mass that you attend.

Art and Environment

These are individuals who are responsible for the overall environment of our parish worship space, especially for the preparation of our worship space for the liturgical seasons. Volunteers are needed and welcomed to help aid in the decorating of our parish sites. We are always looking for people who are willing to offer their gifts and talents (e.g. sewing, flower arranging, decorating, etc.) Please contact our Arts and Environment Coordinator, Gale Wilson at

Music Ministry

Music ministers lead music at liturgies, enhance congregational singing, and inspire participation and prayer by the use of their vocal and instrumental talents and abilities.

This ministry is for those solo singers who demonstrate an ability to lead the assembly in musical worship. Training, rehearsal and support will be provided on an on-going basis as needed.

Audio Visual Ministry

We are in the process of developing this ministry to provide audio-visual support at masses and to encourage parishioners to participate more fully at mass and other events.


The specific role of the sacristan includes preparations for the celebration--such as placement of linens, chalices, hosts, water and wine. This ministry provides for the good order of the liturgy. Sacristans are also responsible for the cleaning of the sacred vessels following liturgical functions and the maintenance of other liturgical furnishings.
