Venerable Cornelia Connelly

Born in Philadelphia on January 15, 1809, the Venerable Cornelia Connelly founded the Society of the Holy Child Jesus in 1846.  The Sisters of the Holy Child taught in our community for 115 years.  Mass at St. Agatha St. James was celebrated  on October 12, 2008 to honor the 200th Anniversary of Cornelia's birth.
